AUGA group became a winner of EBRD Sustainable Energy Gold Award

AUGA group became a winner of this year’s European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Sustainable Energy Gold Award. The award was presented in EBRD’s Annual Meeting and Business Forum in Sarajevo on May 9th, 2019.

EBRD clients were recognized for their achievements. Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards were presented in four categories: Sustainable Energy; Climate Resilience; Environmental and Social Best Practice,  Environmental and Social Innovation.

EBRD’s 2019 Annual Meeting and Business Forum was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year’s theme was Connecting Economies for Stronger Growth.

One of the core parts of the group‘s business model is sustainable closed-loop farming. All the companies of AUGA group producing crops, livestock, mushrooms, and the company headquarters use only certified green electric power, partially produced by the group’s companies themselves from renewable energy sources. Currently, the company focuses on the development of a biogas powered tractor’s prototype.
